well about that i just ground everything down to a flat grade the bottom is out a little further out than the top and at the top there might be a 1/8 inch at top and also with that my egts spike up really easy with no trailer i have not pulled yet since gauges but a know they will be high

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

which 5 inch will help egts though and i only get bout 29 psi of boost and thats it

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

my plate is close to a 100

a5 inch wont help egts alot. 29 psi sounds bout right for your mods.

the next thing i would look into would be 3-4k gov springs. there less than 100, but would have to look them up for the exact price. gov springs would realy wake your truck up

Have you made any adjustments to the AFC? If not, modifying the plate won't do much.

Very untrue^

Do as biged says and get some 3k gov springs. It will make it a completely different truck. You can also pull the afc apart and modify it as well and depending on you plate grind you can get more rack travel that way.

Well you can actually pull it of the truck, grind the washers down flat and grind 1/8th inch of the barrel of the foot so it gets full travel.
