Default 12 valve rat rod advice

hello i am in the process of making a rat rod out of a 1947 chevy one ton and a 1994 dodge cummins. i plan on taking the cab and box off of the chevy and putting in on the dodge frame so i can have up to date brakes and suspension and ect. i am gona use the cummins engine and manual five speed. the dodge is a wrecked regular cab long box 4x4. anybody know if i can use the front end out of a two wheel drive dodge 3/4 ton to put under it i just want a nice summer cruiser not a 4x4. any adviceis welcome, thank you fellow bombers.

you might need to lengthen the drive shaft to compensate for the lack of Tcase or get a 2wd transmission and driveshaft aswell, sounds sweet good luck
