Default Homemade twins? Could use some help

Iv been thinking of making a twin turbo kit out of an hx55 or ht3b an using the stock turbo as my primary. Good idea or not? The hardest part is going to be building all the tubing but I don't know how to bend 4inch with out the ripple effect. Got any ideas on how to build it? I heard the hx55 spins opposite of an ht3b does it make a differencE in flow an tubing design? Pics of any twin turbo kit would be of great help thanks.

When I did mine, I bought lots of 45's and 90's of 3" and 5" exhaust pipe. Then I just mocked everything up, cut, and welded everything to fit. It's not the cleanest, but it works 100%!

Talk to RAWilliams he is usaully in the 98.5-02 section but he just built his own set of twins about 3 month ago or so. I think he could give ya some hints on how he did it. And if I was building a set of twins Id go for something like a hx35 over and s400. Your a moderator now Ryan?

What size of wheels on the s400? How much did the turbo cost? Oh ya doesn't make much sense to try an make the hot pipe any bigger considering that's what the outlet is any way huh.

Turbo was free!
If you want a HX35 - S400 (T4) hot pipe PM me. I had a buddy that makes them for me.

Pmd you rawilliams. As for piping I checked out your pics I thought the hx Pushed the air into the s400. That's what I understood at least. Yours has the s400 pushing the hx doesn't it? I may be wrong I'm 17 an just getting into the twin turbo ideas. Thanks for the help guys.

The "big" turbo, S400, pushes into the "small" turbo. It doesn't work the other way around. The big one always, to my knowledge, feeds the little turbo.
