Default air in coolant

i put a new thermostat in and know i have air in the coolant system how do i get it out. i tried to let the truck idle and wait for the thermostat to break but it is really cold out side and it take for ever to heat up at idle. is there another way to get it out.

keep adding fluid and keep squeezin the top raditator hose until the rads full n the bubbles stop.

I would run it for a day with the cap just settin on there
