So I have a 98 with an automatic tranny, and I replaced my lift pump like 3 weeks ago. and ever since when I am in reverse and on the throtle and let off my truck dies. Any ideas what it might be??

Does it only do it when it's cold? Also, what's your idle speed at?

mine was doing the same thing. turned out my new lift pump was junk. you can put a gauge on it and see if it stays at 30psi.
