Default finally got around to it

the other night i finally got around to adjusting my idle. it was idling at 500 and i bumped it up to 1000 for for the winter, so no more wedging a stick betwene the pedal and the steat . it seems like the the truck runs alot better and even has a bit more get up and go. not sure why i didnt do it sooner. just thought id share...

What temp is your pyro registering when idleing? You should be at 1200+ rpm to maintain enough heat. If you arent at 300 degrees (post turbo) you should still be doing the stick thing.

my probe is post turbo and usually reads 300. 1000rpm is where ive always set it with the stick and it warms right up of a morning and stays warm when i let it sit

oh, its a bit different with a auto. I had set mine higher than 800 rpm and the rear wheels would spin on the ice even though my foot wasnt on the go pedal.
