Default what else can go worng and what r ur thoughts on what i should do

so i bout a 98 cummins 12v a year ago and heres a list of what i had to repair what should i do repair or sell if sell what price

-trans went at 179000 that was $3400 for a built rebuild

-front end steering components went everything had to be changed had the rotors pads hubs anything that needed to be changed got changed thats $2500

-radiator is leaking thats gonna be $500 if i replace to keep the truck or $275 just to repalce and sell

-rear break line went out that was $40

-some one at the grocery store desided to hit it now i need a new bumper havent figured out what ima do with that junk yard $50 or if i keep it ill make one

-need guages if i keep it cause ima build it the trans was built to hold 500hp not lookin that high just some 75 injectors and a hybrid turbo and tune the pump so its not really smokey

-oh yeah and now diesel is upto $3.20 a gallon

truck has 190,000 miles now runs good never off roaded only pulls loads once in a great while but it can pull serious weight largest ive pulled was 21k on the reciver it was a cake walk

sounds like you have the majority of the stuff replaced... why go and sell it... if you do then you stand the chance of getting another truck that needs similar repairs done on it.... fix the small stuff you have listed and keep the truck!

I would find another shop to do the work ... 2500 bucks in the front end is nuts. A fully rebuilt front axel with all the stearing stuff can be had for 600 - 700 bucks. trans sounds high as well.

I think you should keep it you already have more in it than you could sell it for

AGREED... 2500 bucks for front end work is crazy. Even if everything was done... Ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings, brakes.

It's a money pit, sell it for $500. Who do you want me to make the check out to

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Seriously now, if the kdp hasn't been fixed I'd make that priority number one.

x100 just keep it the worst seems to have past, front end and tranny have got to be the most expensive problems that are common...but get that kdp fixed asap by the sounds or your luck if it hasnt been done already

Sounds like an old truck. Ask my wife how much $$ I put in mine. If yours is a Quad Cab and you want to get rid of it, let me know. I need another Dodge to keep her pi$$ed at me.
