Default leak in diesel primer pump

This morning I noticed my truck leaking diesel, looked under hood and found that the diesel primer pump was leaking with engine running. Has anyone seen this before? Can this be taken apart and O-rings changed? or what needs to be replaced?

complete lift pump needs replacing as far as I know. You can find them for around 100 bucks online, usually.
