Any other bills other than the truck? Lol I heard once that you break the 500-600 horse mark it turns into a constant maintenance issue. I've heard of 700 hp streetable trucks but other mods were done for the trucks to stay together along with modified driving styles... Quick way to get big power with out lag would be compound turbo's. S300 over an S400 are popular. Or a large single
Charger. Cant help ya too much with injector size, 5x.016??? Someone chip in here. Depends on who you talk to about DV's some say they help others don't. Trying to achieve 800 DV's are probably a good idea. Find a fuel plate you like. You're going to want an aftermarket fuel system. Gotta make sure your drivetrain can handle it all too, automatics are expensive, smokin clutches is cheaper but still add up so you're going to want to
Beef everything up. Goerend
Is like the Cadillac for automatics, they can build an auto for what ever you need to handle. Southbend and valair are two of the best names in clutches, everyone has positive and negative opinions of them. It's all about preference.

good info for a start! i once made a thread on here wantin 700 hp and i learned alot. now im busy swappin transmissions auctually waitin on shippin anyways 800hp to the wheels is alot to deal with. your gonna have to build your motor top to bottm. a different cam different pistons, rods, pushrods, bigger pump, port and polished head fire ring it, different valves retainers sdx 5x0.020 injectors would be wat i would want. im missing alot alot. but if i wanted a 800hp motor id find a 12 valve motor itself and build it and have your stock one for back up. your gonna spend lots and lots and lots of money just on the motor and tranny.

x2 on what both these guys said and tranny wise you mind as well get you a full billet suncoast tranny with triple disc converter and a bad a flex plate

not trying to threadjack here but no point in making a thread for this question would i need pump work to push 500 hp?

more than likely yes and no. itd be hard i think imo to get 500 hp without pump work. theres all sorts of different ways to get 500hp. you have a 160 pump? 181 dv's would be a good start when u get bigger injectors. theres alot of ways to answer this ill chime in better after somebody gets a good start or make a thred of it

u can hit 500hp with out benching the pump.. a gsk... dv's... and a good afc tune on the pump will be plenty for 500hp on the pump end of things.
