i put a new lift pump and fuel filter on and now it wont start it tried to turn over a couple times but nothing now. I dont see any leaks do i need to crack injectors and crank it or some thing? i used the primer pump and pushed it like 500 times probably and it wont squeak.

make sure you have fuel at the pump first but if you didnt mess with the injector lines to start with i wouldnt touch em i would take the line loose after the filter. Or just crank on it some more be carful that starter dosent get to hot.

Did you open the bleeder screw on top of the fuel filter housing before you pumped the primer ? If not open the bleeder screw 10 mm wrench, and pump the primer pump until you get straight fuel with no air bubbles and it should start.

You obviously are more experienced on a Cummins than I am, but when I replaced the liftpump and fuel lines on my truck I never had to crack an injector line. I just bled it to the filter housing, it started ran rough for a minute and cleared up.

ok i got a longer piece of fuel line and its not kinked or any thing and when i loosen the bleeder screw (10mm) and pump it a little bit of fuel comes out not much though. when turning it over nothing doesnt even try to start could the new lift pump be bad? what do i do? could it be the injection pump? maybe try to turn the screw up on the back or some thing?
