Default can you lock the p7100 in position?

I'm in the process of swaping all of the top end and fueling components from a '96 12v to a '93 block (the '96 developed some large holes).

I need to know if I can set the '96 engine at TDC and lock the pump in position so that it doesn't move when I transfer it over to the '93 block?

We where able to lock the pump on the '93 engine when we removed it but I can't find any info on locking the p7100. I've tried searching around but I can't seem to find anything, if you have links to where this has been discussed previously that would be great!

Thanks.
