hello im new on here but i have a 92 chevy im building and putting a 94 cummins in ok i got the motor for christmas it was in a fire and sat for about 6 months before now so there is a lil serface ... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

hello im new on here but i have a 92 chevy im building and putting a 94 cummins in ok i got the motor for christmas it was in a fire and sat for about 6 months before now so there is a lil serface rust on the cylinders
but right before i got it it got all new bearings and everything my question is when i undo the rods can i reuse the beasrings or not and wats the torque specs on the rods and also wat should i have to do to the injector pump after this fire

well the bearings are engine oil lubricated and it most likely burnt up the oil so replace em and as for the injection pump, it probably fried the seals so total teardown is ur best bet. just like cumminscrazy, do it once.

well it didnt really get that hot i forgot to add that it burnt a couple wiring harnesses and some of the paint is toasty but like the radiator hose wasnt even messed up or anything
