doing my 3GSK did the first spring which stock is 2 parts spring seat and 3 springs. upon doing the other one i got 2 part spring seat and 3 springs and one very thin shim.i did this ever so slow with my pencil magnet. so question is did i lose the other shim in the pump? i would say yes but what to do now? or do those shims ever wear out or what?

thank god for that!!! i was just out in the shop and took my fuel plate out and went fishing and got nothing. as i looked down i saw a small shim on the cross member below. not sure if no shims on one side and maybe two on the other. but i'am the proud parent of twins now!!!! thanks for the quick response guys!!!!!!

one side was just a hair more that the other. not much. heck those stockers only read .030", i set the new at .050" i rolled the pump twice and double checked the oil bath with pencil magnet. nothing down below. those shims are so fricken thin!!! wonder what a shim in the pump would do?
