Default Valve cover gaskets

I had 1 valve cover leak a little. I decided that since I just bought the truck, I should check the valve lash. Now 5 of them leak. They are all hard as a rock and I'm gunna replace them all. They all had RTV on them to Band-Aid it I guess. Is Fel-pro a good replacement? Thanks for your input. -

the rubber compound ones are the way to go it seems that the cork ones tend to leak over time -

Napa's are probably Fel-pro..if they are old stock then they are Victor Reinz....both will be fine. -

check to see if the little o-rings on the bolts are not bad, if those are not on or they are bad, that will cause oil to leak from the gasket.

I use Cummins gasket, they are grey in color, i have had all four colors on my truck before (red, green, black and grey) grey is the best, for me not sure why but they just worked and fit better.

I can get the upper gasket kit for 59.00 (this is Cummins OEM) -

the cummins grey gaskets are the best, just make sure you don't overtorque the valve cover bolts. 18ft pounds max -
