Default whats the differnce in the trannys?

like the 47rh and the 47re what are the difference in them?

bowtech's Sig:94 auto 4X4 cummins with #100 plate slid,215 injectors, AFE intake, single 6 inch bull hauler stack,boost elbow ,glow shift boost and pryo gauges, suncoast valve body, billit dacco single disk tc with tc lock up switch

47rh = hydraulic
47re = electronic

I don't remember the exact breakdown of the numbers. 4 is 4 speed, 7 is strength i believe, don't remember what the R is.

47RH was in all 12 valves minus some of the very newest which I've heard may have a 47re.

basically 47rh = 12 valve 47re = 24 valve

47rh was in 94 and 95, 47re was in 96 up till the 48re

i was on the suncoast website today looking for a trans and under the identify your transmission page it stated that the 47 re was used from 96 to 2002 butalso show differences between several of the years ..

anyone know what years could b used on what years if any.

12valve801's Sig:98' 12 valve Cummins. #100 fuel plate ff , BHAF, starwheel cranked, egr delete, tc lockout switch, A pillar glowshift gauges egt, trans, boost, Exhaust 4'' Aero Turbine muffler to 5 in mitre cut stack. billet sd torque converter, SDX 5X0.014, saving for a turblow

47RH was also used in the early model 96's.
