Call your Dodge dealer and have them run the VIN for any safety recalls. there was a safety recall on the throttle cable and linkage. it is a FREE fix as the cable will fray and will either break or will cause the throttle to stick.

i had this done twice on my 96, both times the cable snapped while driving down the road.... it sux trying to drive while it is idling....
