12 Valve 2nd Gen Dodge Cummins 94-98 Discussion of 12 Valve 5.9 Liter Dodge Cummins Diesels with P7100 Injection Pumps

just last weeky air was blowin ice cold and heat worked great, now nothing, nothing comes out of the vents and all three knobs on the control panel do nothing. im thinkin something electrical possibly fuse relay or what? any help would be great... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

Default 12V heating and air question

just last weeky air was blowin ice cold and heat worked great, now nothing, nothing comes out of the vents and all three knobs on the control panel do nothing. im thinkin something electrical possibly fuse relay or what? any help would be great

check for vacume leaks, under the dash and under the hood.

If it was just a faulty HVAC switch or vacuum system you should be getting air through the defroster vents and the floor vents when the fan motor is running. Start checking your fuses first but if they're all good, you can test the fan motor fairly easily. The motor is on the bottom of the passenger side of the dash, so just unplug the motor and put 12 volts to it and see if it works.

mine quits once in a while,,,,I jus tap the fan motor on passenger side and it gets again again,

thanks guys ill check the blower fan, i think the control switches still work cus if i turn the switch to cold air the idle still comes up a bit and my electric fan clutch kicks on. thank god its not winter here or it would really suck even though i drive with my window down all year round hahaha

fixed, turns out the hard wired in alarm system that i disconnected is in control of alot of things got a new FOB plugged her back in and good to go
