| 12 Valve 2nd Gen Dodge Cummins 94-98 Discussion of 12 Valve 5.9 Liter Dodge Cummins Diesels with P7100 Injection Pumps |
I am putting a 96 cummins in my truck and noticed it has an electric fan clutch, what is this, is this normal for 1996 cummins? When I looked at parts stores they only had the thermal clutches, what do I do to wire this?... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

Sounds like an old Horton clutch which has been discontinued.I have heard that parts are available but I do not know where. The only two guys out here I know who had them scrapped them a few years ago when parts got scarce.....Andy

Actually...
They were very reliable when they were made. The problem was the cost was extremely high and they were dropped due to lack of sales back then.. |

I bought a pair of these 12 valve motors, Would it make more sense to simply sell these clutches than try to sell the motor as a whole? I only want $1500 for the running 12 valve.
