since you have had a plate in your truck and have taken off the afc housing..... check it and make sure it is tight and snug on top of the pump.

My '94 that i had was bad about loosening up the 8mm bolt that held the housing on the pump. Therefore, oil would seep out slowly and make one heck of a mess.

You sure its not the oil return line for the P-Pump on the back thats leaking?.It also could be the quad ring seal which seals the pump to the front cover as they go bad all the time. When they go it will leak oil and travel along the bottom and down on the front suspension. To see if that it you need to lay under the left front of the truck and look up at the bottom of the p-pump and you can usually see where it originates from....Andy

TTT
i was looking for this thread. think i have the same leak as you. looks almost as if it's coming from the seal between the main pump body and the governor assembly thought i might have heard something about the bolts holing the two peices together working loose and causing this leak. or is it the pump oil return line?

i still dont know where this pump oil return line is, theres not much room to look around right there but its dripping from the bottom rear of the pump down onto my motor mount
