Default TPS Specs

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone knew the resistance range of the TPS on a 1998 12 Valve. In particular I want to know the resistance at zero throttle and then the resistance at WOT.
My goal is to replace the TPS with a potentiometer or a different, cheaper TPS so I don't have to pay the full price of a new Dodge one but still have the "intelligence" of the PCM for downshifting when passing.

The service manual and the adjustment procedures only say what the voltage should be at idle but not at WOT.

I did do some searching around for the resistance values but it is entirely possible that I missed it so feel free to suggest other places to look.

Thanks much in advance.

08-1.2 at idle position
And at WOT, 2-2.9 more than obtained at idle position

I read that incorrectly.. I gave you the voltage range, I'll try to come up with the ohm's, but no promises

Well voltages are a great start. If need be I think there is some formula that I can use to calculate the ohm's but it would be even better if they were measured or listed for sure somewhere.
I would go measure my TPS but I know its on the way out so I'm not sure how accurate it would be.

Thanks again!
