97 auto tranny 4x4. Hydroboost was leaking and I replaced it today, took an hour or so. Went to start it up and it won't start. Jump started relay and it will start. After started alternator doesn't charge, no cruise, fuel gauge off, tranny stuck in 3rd gear. Start digging into it and the reason for no starter is no ground to ground pin of relay. ASD relay also has no ground ( hot side of ASD is where my voltage regulator gets its signal), once I ground the ground pin of relay alt starts to charge. If I knew what to check on the tranny I bet it also lost a ground.

What could cause all these things to lose ground but nothing else. Cables are good, clean, and tight. Checked body to block grounds. Almost has to be a wire or plug I bumped that sends ground or signal to the PCM maybe? I'm stumped and need this truck back on the road
