But any how it just started to not want to start sometimes when turn key I get nothing no click nothing so I just keep turning key about 4 or 5 times an it's starts right up battery's are good? Anyone ever have this happen??

By the part #s listed, it's still a Nippendenso and that's way too cheap, never heard of Gladiator. Spend the cash for the AZ unit, that way they're local in case of future problems and no questions asked. It takes years for the contacts to wear like yours and you don't want to wait days for replacement due to other part failure that they did not replace. And by the way, 17 degrees is a tad too much timing. You're asking for cracked pistons, rings, head, or turbo problems. I time manual trans apps to 15 max and automatics to 16.5 max. Depends on other mods. 17 wont kill anything, but EGTs are running high for sure.

I must have missed the place where he talked about his timing. Regardless, my EGTs went down with more timing, not up. And that was sort of half the point. Sure you don't mean drive pressure?
I have heard of Gladiator, and would avoid it. Any local parts store will have a starter that will give you years of use under normal conditions for a reasonable price. I've been through two starters in well over a third of a million miles, both replacements were cheap NAPA units and one of those died because I ignored a fuel leak that saturated it for too long, not because it wore out despite starting the truck anywhere from 10-50 times a day. Point is, there's no reason to buy a starter on the internet and a handful of reasons not to. Local store, local warranty, and it's hard to go wrong.
