Default built 12valve ??

Ok so I finally found a extra motor for my truck that in fixing to start building I was thinking of doing 12mm mainstud girdle but how much power would u be pushing to need a 14mm studs and how much can factory rods take was prolly gonna run a small sets of twins so would marine hg and studs be fine or would that be to much and need fire rings

You should be fine w/o fire rings at most I would o ring for a street truck. I'm going to be running Allan bolts with marine gasket. I already have my parts just need some time to install everything. I hear of guys sled pulling around 70-80#'s of boost and holding?? We will see I guess

For a street truck a o ringed head with studs will hold whatever you throw at it. As for your bottom end question do not waste your money on a girdle it is not needed or 14 mm main studs also not needed for a street truck.

For the bottom end put new bearings in along with 12mm main studs, upgraded rod bolts, balance the crank, rods, and pistons this will give you a very stout bottom end.

I'm doing it to my build to my 6.7. With my 12v rods. I done some searching And cant remember who it was. But it was very reasonable. Correct me if I'm wrong but shot peen and polish do the same thing to an extent. Correct that's just what I gathered from what I read
