P7100 rebuild: local pump shop vs Internet
I know when u get into injector pump ur looking at a little money. Mine had just went out on my truck. Called local pump shops they said 1200 to 1300 with no hard parts, full rebuild around 2000. I look on the internet and I can get a rebuilt pump from the diesel shop on eBay for example for 900 bucks. and I see another one on their claims to be brand new for 1300. why so much difference cheap parts? Claims Bosch parts & 1 year warranty on the new one

I had my p7100 gone through and one plunger and barrel lapped/ honed timing set and calibrated for about $900.00...three years later and only about 5000 miles on it is now exhibiting the sticky plunger problem again. I myself don't know if I will have it worked on again or find another pump...
