Default low power and white smoke

Ok im stumped I have a 97 12valve with around 400k on it so far I've replaced the lift pump and deleted the fuel heater I also turned the starwheel and removed the fuel plate she barely smokes and doesnt have the power it should and at wide open throttle she sometimes blows white smoke I have gauges and max boost with out the torque converter locked is 25psi and egts hit 1100 with the TC locked ill hit 33 psi and 1200 it runs great other then that its at the shop and there telling me that its the injection pump or the injectors im thinking it might be a air leak pre injection pump any ideas would be great before I spend a ton of money

I'd look at the 90* rubber fuel line between the lift pump and the fuel filter (I had a new one and it leaked). The way I found it was by pressurizing the fuel tank and it started dripping there after a couple of min. You can pressurize the tank by running a longer vent line and pressurizing that or some people have used a valve stem in a fuel tank cap. Either way, make sure you use regulated air set to only a few psi, the plastic tank wont take real high pressure
