Broken engine mount bolts... help!
As most of yall know, the 12 valves have 3 engine mount bolts, well 2 have broken off in the block, i broke an extractor off in one, and it is hardened steel and i cannot get drilled through it... the other one, its broken off way down in the hole, but i may be able to get it out or just chase as many threads as i can in it.
If for some reason i cannot get those two bolts do what i want them to do, what is my next option?? I can weld a llittle, but i dont know a whole lot about how to weld different substances to eachother, but is there some way to weld the mounting bracket to the block or something else? i know the block is cast and the bracket is probably a good bit more dense. it was just a thought, but i really need to fix it and get my truck back on the road. Can any of yall get me pointed in a direction??:scare2 :
