Default 12v street drag help

when your doing street drag racing should i push the overdrive button and push it off once im doing 55 or should i not mess with the overdrive

I would have to guess that totally depends on the speed your racing at. For instance in my Mustang my racing gears are 3-4 on the highway. I run 4 out to about 125-130 but DON'T go into 5th which is what you would call overdrive. So personally if your doing low speed it won't matter but higher speeds I would turn it off

Need to install a switch tha runs OD and a seperate one for lock up ....... most likley you will need a VB .... that way u can lock up in 2nd and it will help ur shifts all together
