Default chevy 2wd nv4500

Will a chevy nv4500 mate up to a dodge bell housing?

Different input shaft. There's a regular version and then there is the HD version that came behind the Cummins and V10s. Earlier model GM had a diff bolt pattern between bell housing and trans case. Inputs are smaller on the GM and you will need a different output shaft. Gm uses a 32 vs. Cummins/v10 29 splines on the dodge. There might be more, but that's all i can come up with. So you'll need a flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, input shaft, bell housing, throw out bearing, pilot bearing and clutch fork. It needs to all be dodge, the only thing GM would be the transmission. But with $$$ anything is possible. Your better off finding a NV4500 out of a wrecked 12 valve or v10 truck that appears to be in good shape. Good luck.

Well it is 2wd tranny si output is no issue so for as the rest are u refering to all gm trannies or just the early ones?
