Default Electric Fan Swap

So I am deciding to do the electric fan swap on my 96 dodge. Reason for is my fan blade took out my radiator . I bought a fan for a 95 taurus which seems to be the best one for the swap and bought the controller to go with it. My only question will i see a big difference on temperature? This fan flows A LOT of air. Tested it and it seems to flow more air than stock on high. It bout flew out of my hands when i turned it on. I read that everyone likes them but has problems when towing..... Let me make this clear so we have no mistakes....

THIS TRUCK DOES NOT PULL A TRAILER!!! I have a 99 7.3 powerstroke with a 6spd to pull trailers. I DID NOT BUILD THIS TRUCK AS A TRAILER TOWER. This truck is a 684hp Hot Street/ Sled Puller/ Weekend Warrior/ Daily Driver.

Now my normal temp driving down the road is always below 190* only seen the temp go higher than 190* once because my fan took out my radiator but I got it home before it got to the end of the white line. To my understanding the fan only comes on when you are at a stop because you don't have any airflow to keep the water temp down so the temp sensor will tell the electric fan to turn on when the temp is too high because I'm not moving fast enough to cool down the radiator so in reality the fan would only operate when it is needed at a stop. Is my logic right and will this work the way i need it too?

Thanks for the input
Nick

The truck: 96 dodge 12v cummins
-p7100 (4k springs, laser cut delivery valves, Shaved plungers+ barrels, No plate, advanced 16*)
-250hp industrial injectors (sled pull/drag race 5x18 bored)
-custom Haisley street came (largest without fly cut pistons)
-Bullseye Power S472 (72/14/86) Spool: Starts at 1750rpm, Fully spools at 2100rpm, makes 60psi. Gonna get BatMo Wheels this winter
-Gorerend Tranny+ Suncoast Triple disc converter
-DNR Customs TPS delete to control shift points
