there is no computer under the dash. the pcm is under the hood on pass side behind the airbox. what makes him think the pcm is going bad. if the crank sensor is going bad on the 12v it will throw everything off

Dash lights and brake lights are going out sometimes but work others they work other times he did mention something about the bulbs r blowing to he took it to autozone and they said it wasn't a short it was a computer going bad and he may have said it was behind air box I think either way but the overdrive isn't workin sometimes either he wants 4500 Obo but is flexible since he figured out this problem what do u think on it

the pcm would not cause bulbs to blow. and from experience, I wouldn't trust a damn thing anyone at a parts store says. they will try selling you spark plugs and wires to tune up the truck if you let them.

I know headlight switches are an issue might be a couple of things going on like a crank sensor causing the overdrive problems and a headlight switch causing the light problems.

The TPS could be going bad and messing with the overdrive.
