Default Newbie with a 12 valve.....

Hello guys, I've got a 95 Dodge 2500, 5.9 12 valve, 4x4, 3:54 gears, Auto (47RH), 265/75/16 tires. Truck was bone stock when I got it about 6 months ago. I put new 50 horse injectors in it from Pensacola Diesel, cut the fuel plate to a 0 (shave the "shelf" off flat), slid it and the AFC housing forward, cut all the factory exhaust off so its straight pipe, deleted the factory air box and stuck a K&N on my turbo. It ran ok. But the truck never seemed to shift into OD. I've spent alot of time searching this forum and many others before finally breaking down and registering. At 55 MPH the truck is turning 2,100 RPM. If you push the OD off button it'll up shift to around 2,300 to 2,400 then down to 2,100 RPM (TC lockup). The only noticeable difference is the slight upshift then the TC lockup. I towed with it quite frequently, and drove it everyday. But it never seemed to change. It tops out at around 70 MPH. It doesn't slip, it shifts perfectly normal. I've read about wiring the TC up to a manual lockup, which would be absolutely awesome, it would help a little with the cruising RPM's have the TC engaged with what I assume is OD or drive. I was told the trans was built mildly but I don't know the mileage.

Ok, future plans are 500 horses. Right now I'm running a no wastegate WH1C (the truck originally had a wastegated WH1C but sadly it locked up) with factory down pipe dumping under the bed. The pump hasn't been messed with, aside from the fuel plate and sliding the AFC housing and turning up the smoke screw a tad. I don't need a big smokey mess Now, I'm going to give this thing a slight lift. 2" leveling kit and 35's is my next adventure (I'm in the process of putting the no wastegated WH1C turbo on and finishing a head gasket install).

I would like to be able to tug a 3 car hauler with it with no worries. Am I on a good path here? I know this is kinda a jumbled post but I wanna make sure y'all have enough info about it to help guide me on my way.
