Default Cummins transfer case issues

Hey everyone I have a strange issue with my 4wd it acts like it doesn't lock 4h in at all and 4L it acts like it barley wants to move I have to give it half throttle to get it to budge ..some Times 4h grinds a little when I try to engage it but that's about all I get. Any ideas? BTW it's not the 99 dodge in the Sig its a 96 12v auto 4x4 . I just haven't got around to changing it.

cincolatham11's Sig:-99 dodge 2500 cummins, ext cab long bed 4x4, fass HPFP lift pump w/relocation kit, 4" straight pipe, quadzilla xzt+, gauges(boost, pyro,trans) ,superchip, 20" moto metal wheels on 35s.
-83 vw rabbit 1.6l NON turbo diesel, tweaked pump, 5 speed, 17" rims, 2" straight pipe to 5" chrome stack (rolls more coal then my truck).[/SIZE]

Sounds like the same thing my tcase did, I tore it down and the range fork was worn down, I replaced it and been problem free so far, I got mine from a company called Transstar in Albuquerque, NM, I think I paid like 36 bucks for it, I know they have locations all over the US so you might try to find one close to you, Hope this info helps

did mine proberly is the fork very simple to fix

cummins Pride's Sig:# 0 fuel plate,afc WFO,afe stage 2 intake, silencer ring removed,boost elbow,35 psi of boost,5in mbrp straight pipe, 370 marine injectors,7in skyjacker lift on 37s,firestone air bags ,sound system, boost and egt gauge auto meter, tinted windows,dual shock steering stabilizer, kdp fixed
