ok guys going to tackel my head gasket very soon so i already got my 60 lbs valve springs and my cummins head gasket set. so now so i go back with head bolts or studs? i have read on a nother write up that is you stud you have to shave some thing ????? ok so my truck pushes right at 32 lbs at WOT so i really need your guys imput studs new blots or is there any other option???

 

Do you have plans for more modifications? If so studs and why not ring it while its off? Make sure not to order the gasket until you know what was taken off the head. If you use studs you'll have two option to fit the valve covers over the studs a: mill the rocker stands or b : grind the valve covers. A is the best option.
