Default FUEL ISSUE, HELP!!

I have a 96 cummins. its 5 speed. has 4k gov springs, 60# valve springs. timing at 16.5, 0 plate, boost elbo, EGT and boost gauges, and some more small things. stock turbo and injectors.

I am having a problem with my boost. I should be getting 30psi pretty easy. I am getting about 15psi easy then it takes a bit to get to about 23psi. I cant get anymore then that. i checked tonight and no boost leaks but was not sure how much psi i had in. My guess now is i have a fuel problem. I am not sure where to begin. ful lines? fuel pump? anyone?

Also just tonight driving home my oil pressure gauge was acting up. idle it was normal but the needle was shaking a little. driving once i was at 1700 - 2200 in acceleration I lost oil pressure? I pulled over and revved it up to 2200 and I did not loose pressure? unsure any help on anything would be great!

The only time i usually get 30 psi boost is when i really get into it.
what are you doing to get yours at 30 psi?
What kind of psi are you pulling right now?
As for the oil pressue your sensor may be going out.
But thats a rough guess.

Ya turbo seems good. it spools fast till 15psi. no play in the bearing. seems solid. I think it might be a boost leak at higher boost or im not getting fuel fuel because even with a 0 plate im not getting fuel. I am stumped

you put the boost elbow on the line going to just the turbo and not to the afc right?

fuel pressure? any smoke?

how did it run before you did this work? im assuming you did this all at once?

a big boost leak you would hear, like definitely hear. even little ones can normally be heard over the engine once they start pushin.

good fuel pressure at idle. around 30. havent tested it driving yet. You would think with a 0 plate it would smoke stupid and get real hot but matted i dont get over 900 and very little smoke. my buddy had a boost leak that you could hear. I cant hear anything. If i have a fuel problem I would think it would skip and pop but it doesnt

not necessarily. they will more often than not spudder around on low fuel when in neutral but kinda tend to go unnoticed while driving if you dont have a gauge. just a hey this isnt quite what it used to be feeling. could have a faulty OFV could be a weak lift pump giving out up top. with what your truck has done it WONT blacken the sun but it should run pretty good. get a guage and see where you are at
