Transmission cooler lines, ive just about had it..
So my transmission cooler line that runs from the cooler to the heat exchanger on the passenger side of the motor is leaking, I've read the tread with replacing the aluminum line with 1/2" transmission hose, but unfortunately no auto parts store I went too today stocks this stuff or even has it in there catalogs... I tried to disconnect the lines and re connect them and tighten them to get a better seat if you will on the fitting and now its even worse. It absolutely pooooooours out transmission fluid I can't even pull it out of my garage atm. Does anyone have any idea what I should do.

Actually If I disconnect the line from the heat exchanger will the heat exchanger just drain itself out? So I can also unthread the fitting that the nut screws onto which holds the line on. That way I won't get poured on the whole time
