95 12v 319k miles. Worth getting?
I'm considering looking at a 95 12v I found on Craigslist. It's a 2500, regular cab, longbox, 5 speed, 4x4. The ad says it runs good but I'm concerned about the amount of miles it has on it. It's got 319k miles. I know it depends on how it was used and taken care of. He wants $4000 for it, which is close to the value if my Explorer so I thought I'd see if he'd be willing to trade. Just wondering if it would even be worth looking at. What y'all think?

My Explorer has been very reliable, but not being a truck and being a gasser, it has let me down a few times haha. My last dodge I owned(96 1500 w/ 150k miles) was the biggest headache I've ever had and so that's why I'm asking if this truck is even worth looking at.

if you like spending money then.... yes!!! I paid 4750 for my 98 with 335K in DEC 2012and its broke down more than it drives and every dang thing you need to buy is expensive.
hydraulic clutch assem. 150
fuel pump. 100
injectors 600
clutch 400
oil change 60
air filter 30
fuel filter 35
radiator 160
miscellaneous gaskets and parts for repairs 400
And that is just OEM type parts. Don't even consider the Stealership ppftshaw. And You'll most certainly get out of hand in a hurry with the aftermarket performance alternatives in the race to ironclad your truck and get the DODGE out of it. JUst add a zero on all the prices I gave you and you'll be close
I still like having it but it is certainly not the bullit proof machine that you think you are buying.
