other than that , i cant think of any fuel leak related scenarios that would manifest and disappear just as quickly during a hard right turn.
what is your voltage gauge doing when this occurs? In fact, what are all your gauges doing?

I checked the wiring to the FSS and all looks good. But the rubber boot underneath is seriously decomposed. I see you can replace it alone but for an extra $20 I might be ahead just to replace the entire unit - that is providing I stay away from Napa -sheesh
I cleaned up the battery terminal connection where the fuseable link is hooked up to the positive terminal - there was some serious corrosion there and I think that could be a potential place for an intermittent short.

it is automatic transmission. if I get a re-occurance I will check the gauges
