I have a 97 2wd dually 226000 miles, trucks in good shape and I dont have any future intentions of getting rid of it. When I bought it the auto tranny had been rebuilt and had less than 3000 miles on it. It now has about 25,000 on it and its slipping when its trying to shift from 2nd to 3rd. Just trying to see what my best options are id like to be able to fix the tranny once and for all so to speak I dont mind spending extra money to make sure its done right. Trucks main use is pulling a horse trailer usually with about 4 horses.

Also only mods to the truck are silencer ring gone and 5in exhaust. But want to do more to it in the future.
