The gen light on my dash flashed this morning on my way to work, upon arriving to work and shuting the truck off I started it again and let it idel, the light did not come on again.

For what i understand thats the charging system problem light meaning my alt. might be on its way out.

question for you guys what brand, amp and where can i find a quality alt.? Id like to put a higher amp on if possible not sure what stock is. Ive read that we can put on a heavy duty truck alt with little to no modifications. Also what do you guys think about putting a smaller pully wheel on the alt. so I get more power at idel?
