Hey DB, I'm buying a 97 12v auto (don't know what trans code it is) We are planning to swap it into a tow rig and i was wondering what mods would you guys do for reliability,hp and last but not least fuel economy. We have a 99 2500 with a 5spd now with a banks exhaust brake, banks ottomind, banks high ram intake, banks 4 inch exhaust, banks quick turbo and wastegate. we would like to get around the same hp and tq from the 12v and my question to everyone is, what mods would you do to make a reliable tow rig, we haul 2 cars and usually are in the south east but do wander up to the mountains every once and a while.
