ok guys 1994 12v 3500 4x4 auto
anyways the past month some erratic things been happening. when i feather the throttle the truck shifts ok the weird thing os that to get into od i have to left off the throttle slight then engages. everything else is ok nice and smooth. if im at a stop light and take off hard it goes through 1-3 good then hangs in 3rd till about 2000rpm then a hard shift into 4th then od.
i take a parkway very often and i have to start a dead stop then throttle it til i get to 65-70 and thats when this happens. but if i feather it the shifts are good but would take all day to get to 65. also today for about 30 -40 miles im crusing at 65-70 and its going in and out of od every couple of seconds on relitivley flat road maybe slight incline. it happen for at least 25 miles every minute or even sooner. idk if thats lock up or what. im not sure if i should adjust the bands, maybe its the gov solenoid or stuck spool valves im not sure. this is my first dodge auto tranny ive had dont know a whole lot about them and its driving me crazy right now. also to mention erlier last year i had to replace the 3-4 accumulator spring in the vb it was broken which fixed the 3-4 upshift idk if that might have another issue or not. any help would be awesome. thanks guys

Throttle positioning sensor is what I had to put on mine. It was doing the same thing going down the interstate.

you should try cleaning the tps sensor before you replace it just so you know. I had all the same issues and i just drilled 2 holes in it sprayed in electronic cleaner, sprayed compressed air into it and sealed the holes with silicone. Works like new now.
