Default Downpipe mounting question

So when I bought my truck it already came with a 4"downpipe to 5" exhaust, but I'm really wondering how the downpipe is supposed to be mounted because currently it's hose clamped mid way down it around the front of the frame... Is this proper? The reason I ask is because at a certain rpm I have some pretty crazy cab shake going on, and I've tightened that hose clamp as tight as it can go. The rpm it happens at is around 750 and when I put my truck in drive when it's cold, if I'm driving around and go to a stop in drive when the trucks warm the rpm is that little bit higher that I don't get the cab shake. Any info is greatly appreciated if someone can help me out I have 0 experience with downpipes

the downpipe should not be touching the frame. it should mount to the turbo and have a hanger down by the transmission.

Ya that's kind of what I figured, I guess whoever installed this exhaust f'd up with this hanger near the tranny. Looks like i've got another project this weekend!
