Default Diesel Leak Cause Tranmission slip?

Hi everyone,

I have a 98 quadcab 2500 12 valve and after doing some work (Injectors, 3k springs, valve springs, fuel filter, Turbo) I took it out for a spin and the transmission quit. When the tow truck came we noticed diesel spewing out under the engine(I had the truck still running). I have found the leak, but I am wondering if the diesel fuel going onto the torque convertor would cause the transmission to stop working or did the tranny happen to fail at the same time as the leak.

Thanks

Umm let me say this in Spanish NO diesel fuel on your torque converter would not make it slip. You just got unlucky sorry.
