Default no coolant temp

Hey ya'll , I just took delivery of a 95 12v 2wd pick up.. auto trans ... looks factory for the most part ... cold air and a pac brake , big bumpers etc...

Ok so i have no coolant temp on the guage stays on the low and never moves ... get heat and all that... looking for the coolant temp sensor/ wiring ... etc ... it says on the drivers side of the head on the rear of motor .... kust wondering if this is it ??? usualy work on 24v so i'm a little outta my comfort zone a lil ... also does removing the silencer ring make more power or just noise ??? dyno proven power especially... shoot ur suggestions on a turob also ... im on a budget and if i can just rebuild myself i can do that ... I work on Big Diesels all day so this is small beans ...

also wondering about some lingo .... what is a t3t4 ??? a t3 turbine with a t4 exhaust side
??? im lost ...

what temp is it showing john?
I wonder if the sensor went out.
If your sensor did go out, i would change the coolant while you at it.
