Lift pump install
So I'm having a problem getting this bugger to line up. When I insert pump I got about 1/4 gap between block and pump. I know this pump has a different angle then my 92 as its just flat. Which made it a cake walk. I've tried baring the motor to find lowest spot on cam lobe.maybe just didn't find it!!! Will this pump snug up when tightening bolts to close that gap? Thanks so much!!!

what are you trying to do? install a 2nd gen pump on a 2nd gen or a 2nd gen pump on a 1st gen? check overall length of the pump and the plunger from the old to the new. ifthey are the same use 2 longer bolts to reach the block. snug them down so that the factory length bolts reach then swap them for factory one at a time. check lenght first.

Yeah I'm doing a 2nd gen. I think my cam lobe is not in lowest point. The plunger shafts are the same length old one v.s. new one. Plus I've decided I'm going to use studs instead of factory bolts. Seems it will make it way easier to mount the pump. I was saying my 92 was a cake walk but different LP pumps.
